SUMMARY:Young Lawyers Committee: Lunch & Learn Series - Trial Advocacy Skills
DESCRIPTION:Join the Young Lawyers Committee as well as established practitioners and judges as they chat about necessary skills and tips for oral arguments\, trials\, and effective motion practice. \nEach year the YLD hosts a number of events that include both social outings (i.e.\, baseball games and speaking events) as well as community service projects (i.e.\, assisting organizations like the Northern Illinois Food Bank Habitat for Humanity with local projects). It is the YLD’s hope that these events will offer young lawyers the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally by becoming more immersed in the community in which they work. \nYLD events are open to both recently-admitted\, practicing attorneys as well as aspiring attorneys.
