Will County Bar Association Probate Committee
About The Probate Committee
The committee discusses procedures and policies in probate court, comments on administrative matters in court, examines changes in probate laws and current case law in the field, and has an open forum for issues brought forward by members. The members present an annual seminar in mid-April of each year granting MCLE credit. While the committee focuses primarily on probate law and probate practices, it also discusses trusts and estates in its broad context including guardianships, powers of attorney, asset transfers, and estate taxation.
The Probate Committee meets the second Monday of each month from September through May at 4:30 p.m. The meeting generally lasts an hour to an hour and a half.

Members of the Will County Bar are urged to join a committee as participation from all committees and their members are very important to the growth of our association and other WCBA members.
