Will County Bar Association Real Estate Section

About The Real Estate Section

The Real Estate Section welcomes any and all attorneys whose practice is affected, either directly or indirectly, from the provision of legal services in all manner of real estate related issues – including residential, commercial, and industrial real estate deals; foreclosures; landlord-tenant issues; real estate matters that arise out of probate or guardianship matters; new developments in title insurance matters; real estate litigation from condemnation to eviction issues to zoning concerns.

Our Section meets every third Wednesday starting at 4:00pm. The agenda for each meeting, typically available before the meeting, includes discussions of Real Estate issues at the ISBA Real Estate Section level down to new considerations of local municipalities.  Each meeting includes, when applicable, discussions of new developments in real estate related legislation and review and analysis of recent case law.  The meetings typically last one hour. We look forward to seeing anyone interested in staying informed about changes in the case law and statutory authority that affect real estate.

The WCBA maintains a number of sections that provide useful services such as CLE seminars, rule proposals, participation in the judicial poll and this website.

Members of the Will County Bar are urged to join a section as participation from sections and their members are very important to the growth of our association and other WCBA members.
