About The Community Service Section
The Community Service Section is designed to give back to the community of Will County by doing events several times a year that help those who are in need. At our section meetings, we talk about new ways we could give back outside of food banks and that may be geared more to providing information that we are experts in. For example, we have been working on finding venues that we could provide information about new laws that impact people like our youth to keep them informed and protected on the laws that may affect them. We consistently welcome other ideas that people in our legal community might have and encourage them to join in at our section meetings.
Meetings are usually held quarterly via Zoom. We advertise our meetings in the WCBA newsletter and encourage attendance for those who want to give back.

The WCBA maintains a number of section that provide useful services such as CLE seminars, rule proposals, participation in the judicial poll and this website.
Members of the Will County Bar are urged to join a section as participation from all sections and their members are very important to the growth of our association and other WCBA members.
