Will County Bar Foundation

Information & Criteria

The Will County Bar Foundation was established in November of 2024 through a generous donation from the Will County Bar Association.

The Purpose of the Will County Bar Foundation shall be to:

(a) Support and provide educational outreach and scholarships to the bar and
public;

(b) Acquire and preserve items of artistic and historic significance related to
the Will County legal community;

(c) Assist qualifying members of the Will County Bar Association community
during times of need;

(d) Provide support to charitable community endeavors identified by the
Foundation in collaboration with the Will County Bar Association;

(e) Support access to justice, especially for those with limited means, through
support for legal aid non-profit organizations and others providing
assistance to self-represented litigants;

(f) Foster and maintain the honor and integrity of the profession of law; and,

(g) Maintain and support the administration of justice.

Community Grant Program Applications

In line with the purpose, the Bar Foundation has established a Community Grant Program.  Applications can be found below.

All grant funds shall be used for the purposes stated by the applicant in the Grant Application and shall be the responsibility of the applicant to provide proof of compliance with this policy before any other applications for funds will be considered.
