Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How many CLE credits will I receive by attending this seminar?
Attendees will be eligible to receive up to eight (8) hours of CLE credit, including a minimum of three (3) hours of Professional Responsibility credit (subject to approval by the Illinois MCLE Board).
Is this seminar accredited by the Illinois MCLE Board?
Yes, the seminar will be submitted for accreditation through the Illinois Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Board.
Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
Yes, all attendees will receive a certificate of attendance at the conclusion of the seminar, which can be used to report CLE hours to the appropriate state board.
What is included in the registration fee?
The registration fee includes CLE programming, seminar materials, a welcome reception, breakfast and lunch on seminar day, refreshments during breaks, and access to all sessions.
Are non-CLE earning members (e.g., Judges) required to pay the same registration fee as attorneys for the WCBA Lake Geneva CLE? Yes, all attendees — including judges and other non-CLE earning members—are required to pay the same registration fee. CLE credit is provided by the Bar Association to dues paying members as a benefit of membership and is not included in the registration cost. The cost includes access to all seminar programming, meals and refreshments, event materials, and social events such as the welcome reception. We greatly value the participation of all members of the legal community and appreciate your support of the Will County Bar Association.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
Cancellations made 30 days prior to the event will receive a full refund, minus a small administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after that time. Substitutions are allowed.
Are meals provided during the seminar?
Yes. Light breakfast and coffee will be served, along with lunch on Day Two, and snacks during breaks on seminar Days One and Two.
What should I wear?
Business casual attire is recommended.
Can I bring a guest to the welcome reception?
Yes, guests are welcome to attend the welcome reception for an additional fee. Please contact us in advance to arrange guest passes.
Will there be printed materials or are all resources digital?
Attendees will receive a link to digital seminar materials prior to the event. Printed copies will also be available upon request.
